The Sports Authority of Assam (SAA) was established to oversee and conduct various sports coaching disciplines at the facilities built in and around Guwahati namely, the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, Dr. Zakir Hussain Aquatic Complex, and Nabin Chandra Bordoloi Indoor Stadium, located at the Sarusajai Sports Complex. Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium, Amingaon, Deshbhakta Tarun Ram Phukan Indoor Hall, R.G. Baruah Sports Complex, Moullana Md. Tayabullah Hockey Stadium Bhetapara, Bhogeswari Phukanani Indoor Stadium, Rudra Singha Sports Complex, Dispur, Guwahati Shooting Range, 4th APBN, etc. The coaching program aims to train the players so that they can represent the state in national and international competitions and bring glory to the state. All the coaching is provided to give exposure and experience to the emerging sports talents of the state, enabling them to train in state-of-the-art sports facilities.
The State Level Residential Front Ranking Coaching has been launched by the Sports Authority of Assam to nurture the talented players of the state, with the aim of bringing out the best in each player. The coaching is delivered by coaches and trainers of international and national acclaim. The State Level Coaches will assist the chief coaches in training the top-ranking players.
Before joining into coaching & Training in any sports, please read carefully the RULES AND REGULATION FOR COACHING and make ready the documents which are to be upload along with the online application.

RULES AND REGULATION FOR TRAINNING

1. The Admission normally starts in the month of April. Fees will be taken at the time of admission for the whole year as annual fees.
2. Right to enter into the Stadium/ Sports Complex strictly reserved for the trainees only production of Identity Card at the Entry Gate
3. Player will bring their own equipments as per requirement and they must follow the instruction of their respective coaches / trainers.
4. No parents/guardian shall be allowed to interfere in the administrative rules & regulations.
5. Any misbehavior or misconduct in stadium premises will lead to immediate termination of membership.
6. In case any accident/incident, Sports Authority of Assam will not be held responsible in any way.
7. Any violation of the above rule will invite forfeiture of membership permanently.
8. Sports Authority of Assam reserves the right to suspend coaching temporarily in case of an International/ National/ state level etc. competition or in case of urgent necessity by Sports Authority of Assam with prior information.
9. Person seeking membership will have to pay Rs. 150/- as membership fees.
10. The selected applicants will also pay Rs. 150/- only for Identity Card.
11. Each application form will cost Rs. 200/- only.
12. Guardians/ Members are requested not to bring any valuable items with them and Sports Authority of Assam will not be responsible for any loss/ damage/ theft of any item of the guardians/ members in any manners.
